Are you sure it's level 15 you get it? I did a quick Google check, and Google supports that it's level 15, but there are a few other people that are having this issue. Maybe you should head over to the official BFBC2 forums on their website, and post this problem there. See what kind of response you get.

Isnt it unlocked from ranking up a particular class? I just unlocked the magnum at a level 12...

i thought magnum ammo was level 18, and its not attained by leveling up a certain class because i use magnum ammo on every class except my recon where i use spotting scope.

i got it a level 17 btw so im quite happy now . one shot kill with sniper allways !!

i thought it was the sniper that had magnum ammo

no, the magnum ammo is an unlock for any class that uses specialization number 2
