A newly emerged glitch, found by players of the platinum award selling game God of War III, will enable any player to start a new game, on any difficulty level, with all weapons available and maxed-out!
This means, obviously, that you will be able to start a new game with weapons that shouldn't be available until later in the game, such as the illustrious Nemean Cestus.
Furthermore, the weapon levels that you have recieved will remain fully maxed, even when you accuire them again later in the game. There is just one sole exception to this fact, and that is the Blade of Exile, which will be reset to the first level.
Trophies ARE still available to be earned when doing this glitch.
If you want to do the glitch (and lets face it, you probably do), then just follow these four simple instructions, ecxplained by its founder.

No words yet on when Santa Monica Studios, the publisher, will release a patch for the glitch or even if they will at all!

I think it was discovered about 2 weeks ago, which gives SM enough time to develop a patch. If it's true, what they say, it's probably patched by now. Either that, or it was to fix the bugs for the trophies.

This glitch IS still working, the patch yesterday was solely to fix wireless controller issues.

This doesn't give you infinite magic or items when setting them to infinite in the combat arena settings.
At least, not at the start of the game before you lose your magic/item while swimming to Hades for the first time
Also, as far as I know (just tried it) you cannot kill Gaia at the beginning of the game where you move the 10 foot tall stone around her heart and end the game quickly...I know, right!?)
Same goes for the bramble in front of the big gate in Hades.
You can, however, burn the bramble guarding the path just before you enter the room where you obtain the bow of Apollo.
NOTE: Take caution when trying to exploit the game with this. I tried to break the chain of balance early and it froze the game, and the save will no longer load without freezing. It is not possible to break the chain early. If you are wondering, it froze after I broke all three stones on each judge's head and traveled back down, followed by me attacking the right side of the chain. So be sure to save at the checkpoints.
