Cold War setting for Call of Duty 7

New rumours suggest that this year's instalment of the blockbuster Call of Duty franchise will be set during the Cold War with fighting in locations such as Vietnam, Cuba, and South America.

An report on Map Mod News that speculates without referencing any source pegs the title as Call of Duty: Black Ops.
During part of the game, the post claims, you'll play as an operative in the British Special Air Service while storming the Iranian embassy in London during the 1980s. Zombies are also set to return in a bonus mode.

Most appealing is the suggestion that multiplayer will include dedicated servers. Of course, since no source is cited it's best to take all of these details with a healthy dose of scepticism.

This is pretty old news, and technically it's not even news anymore. It's pretty much been confirmed that the CoD 7 game will be in Vietnam. Cold War sounds boring anyways, that's why they called it the Cold War.

This has been posted already in the news section. How it even got here in the first place is beyond me. CLOSED
