Isla Innocents - Attacking - At least five snipers camping on our hill. Team Loses.
Nelson Bay - Attacking - At least six snipers camping on the pipe. Team Loses.
Isla Innocents - Defending - Five snipers do not attempt to defuse or even go to M-COM stations. Team Loses.(Me and my mates got them down to 7 tickets >.>
Nelson Bay - Defending - We won but three M-COM Stations were blown up, Could of won on first stage if but no Motion Sensors were thrown into A and thus it was filled was M60 Medics.

So by now I think you understand what I'm getting at. Snipers. The Class is called Recon not Camper, I know some of you guys are helpful and actually do some Reconnaissance, throwing your motion mines, C4ing Enemy M-COMs, Mortaring Enemy bases, YOU are a credit to your team. Now on the other side, about 9/10 RECON players do not understand what Recon means: Reconnaissance is a military term denoting a preliminary survey; especially: an exploratory military survey (also scouting) conducted to gain, or collect information.(CopyPasta off wiki)It does not say : "Reconnaissance is a military term denoting snipers laying on a hill trying to kill as many people as possible while the assualts get slaughtered trying to get into a M-COM House, which the Sniper could of mortared and spotted the people inside."
But that's what most players think it means.
My Plea is that PLEASE PLEASE all Reconnaissance players, **** your K/D Ratio, It's a team game, HELP your team and NOT YOURSELF.

Agree 100%! Snipers say they don't die as much as other classes, but they really are not getting as many kills as other classes and they're are not putting as much pressure on the other team as the other classes. Snipers = campers, selfish, k/d ratio whores who most of the time really don't help the TEAM. For the TEAM (Medic > Sniper), even though 95% of the teams both sides are medics. I hope DICE tweaks the medic class soon and people use the other classes more.
People need to stop treating rush and conquest modes as death matches and help the TEAM achieve the objectives (hint: it's not how many kills you get).

I snipe my ass off for the most part but also most of my positions are long range but i can also see the mcom stations, so i can snipe anyone who tries to defuse the target.
What i hate tho is when other people on my team try sniping and do nothing but run up the most use pathways time and time again wasting the teams tickets and not getting any kills or being of any help.
In that instance i actually change class to either assualt or engineer and head off on my merry old way of destroying the mcom stations, due to the realisation that the 10 or so guys with gols or m24s cant snipe for crap and are not going to help my team win in anyway what so ever.
Add to what sinister said. They care about there KD, mine is only 1.83. It would be much higher but for the fact im also used as the dummy who stands out of bounds and gets revived when our team is low on tickets. I LOVE TICKET BOOSTING

Good method that I've found for using the recon when defending in rush- level the m-com station buildings (if you can) using mortar strike then use motion sensors at the site. Means you and your teammates can mop up anyone trying to plant.
Using my low level resources as best I can
If you have a good squad, I believe ammo boxes give you more motion sensors, so have an Assault drop back on the occasion and resupply you with more sensors!
Just my 2 cents on using the tools that recon has, NOT just sniping for your oh so important KDR
