Post: MW2 For Wii Leaked by Gamestop?

US games retailer Gamestop recently sent out a news letter through email, containing what appears to be a box shot of MW2 for the Wii. Now this seems unlikely, as MW2 for the Wii hasn't been announced, and with Infinity Ward in ruins, development on a partly new game is un-likely. So have they just made a very stupid box art error, or is MW2 really coming to the Wii? For now, we'll have to wait and see.
As you can see in the screenshot of the news letter above, just peaking out behind the Rock Band: Beatles edition for the Wii, is MW2, with Wii box-art.

thats cool i hope if theres anybody for the wii that is wanting to play modern warfare 2 that they get it because it's a decent short playing game and the wii is always underrated. Me personally love my ps3 but as long as xbox is out of the picture or discussion then im fine...i know, i know, FAN BOY!!! Who cares most of us are fanboys at heart and you know it. No, if they did release it, it wouldn't be by Treyarch because they're making CoD7, and IW is in ruins. So if it isn't a mistake, and it's intentional, then it's probably gonna be some lame-ass port by some company I've never heard of with horrible controls and graphics with nobody online. 'Nuff said.

umm treyarch was working on COD7 when they did COD4 for the Wii, as well as making map packs for COD5... So it's well within their capabilities.
I prefered the FPS Wii controls, it just lacked convienent friend adding, and matches were only 4v4 on COD5. I'm looking forward to testing out Socom 4 with move controls on PS3

Treyarch never made COD 4 mate , Infinity Ward did.
