Halo Reach Multiplayer Beta Gameplay
By- iK R U δ H

Well a lot of you know about the release of Halo Reach which will be coming out during autumn

This video is just some Halo Reach multiplayer game play below, i will be listing new features under the video which will be implemented into this game!

Changes since Halo 3

The X button will now return back to it's Halo 1 & 2 roots again, as it will function as the reload button.

Now the B button allows you to switch between your frag and plasma grenades. The right bumper button is your melee attack, and the left allows you to use your Armour abilities, which I'll discuss shortly.

In addition to Halo Reach there will be a "weapon loadout" which will be similar to the "classes" that you received in Bad Company, Call of Duty and Team Fortress 2, the weapons given to you will tell you what weapons you will be supplied with at the beginning at the game and when you spawn. In this game everyone starts out with an Assault Rifle and a pistol.

The assault rifles in Halo Reach are MUCH more accurate, but as many people have said many of the Halo Reach weapons are harder to use. There's also less aim assist that will help you.

Armour

So as most of you know there were armour abilities in Halo 3 like the Bubble Shield and the Power Drainer, these items were EXTREMELY useful but only could be used once =/ BUT in Halo Reach you will have a PERMANENT special skill that will be built into your armour each time you respawn.

Once you start using the armour ability an on-screen power meter will start to decrease/drain, you also don't have to use all of the energy in one burst you can use it in little short burst .

There are FIVE abilities will be available in the beta this May: Spring, Evade, Jet Pack, Armour Lock and Active Camouflage. Sprint, which is pretty self explanatory, it makes you run faster, but it wont allow you to use your weapon at the same time (it's also exclusive to the Spartan class, for those of you familiar with Halo characters).

Evade
Next there's, which is exclusive to people playing as Elites. Just like Sprint, this one's pretty self-explanatory: Using Evade will cause you to roll in a direction of your choosing. A good tactic to employ with Evade is to leap behind someone and try to go in for an assassination.

Jet Pack
another armour ability that does exactly what it says on the tin. Yes, would you believe it, if you use the Jet Pack, you can fly around the air for a bit. It allows you to access hard to reach places easily, giving you a good height advantage against other players. However, it's noisy and makes you an obvious target.

Armour Lock
Particularly interesting is the Armour Lock ability, which allows you to be invulnerable for up to five seconds -- while active, you can't be hurt by any players . There's been a lot of concern about Armour Lock among Halo fans since it was announced, but I found that it was surprisingly well balanced. For one thing, you can't move when using it. And when it's active, you start glowing bright blue and make a lot of noise. Hardly a stealth tool.

Active Camouflage
Finally, there's the Active Camouflage power. Halo veterans will be familiar to the Active Camouflage as a pick-up in the previous Halo games, but now it's built in to your armour. Active Camouflage makes you invisible (well, kind of -- light is still refracted through your player model), but there's a catch: Using it scrambles the radars of any players near you, including your own. Also, the faster you move, the more visible you become, so it's best to move slowly while using it. "I would say this kind of sounds like scrambler but not the whole invisible thing."

Think about it, Microsoft are never going to let Sony anywhere near the Halo franchise. It would be like Sony giving up Gran Turismo, it's just not going to happen. Hence, it would snow in hell before Microsoft would give it up.
