Bungie's Now Decided to go All Platforms

Hey NGU, Well as the title says, Bungie have now signed a 10 year contract with activision (For more info on that please look at this You must login or register to view this content. )there will explain all that stuff, but obviously I am not here to talk about that, I am here to talk about Bungie's Decision to now create games for ALL platforms. As alot of you know Bungie were the creators of the Popular series Halo, now they have decided they are venturing into other platforms with new games. Here is a quote from Thomas Tippl, Chief Operating Officer of Activision Blizzard.

So for me this is an exciting prospect for all us PS3 and PC and possibly Wii players out there.

My opinion on this is that we can expect some gnarly games to be hitting our stores soon. With Bungie's famous Halo series I would LOVE a new similair series across all platforms :love: Are you glad about this?

im surprised they went with activsion seeing as what is happening with IW would of thought EA would of been a better choice but i suppose they went for the money

There will be no more Halo's because Microsoft owns the rights to Halo, but Bungie can make more games like Halo. But sorry, no Halo on PS3, PC or Wii :(

this is gonna be nice, while i dont think they will release the halo franchise for ps3 other games will definitely increase the money they make and they will most likely spend that money on developing higher quality games

Activision knew that Infinity ward was gonna crash. They needed a plan B. And look who it was. And you never know if microsoft will combine with sony for halo.

FFS, this means that Bungie will have to throw out games every other year or something gay like that. Activision ruin games. Fair enough they are a business that is in it for the money, but come on, they will still make shit loads of money from not throwing out the same titles games every year.

lol, i know they prolly won't since Microsoft prolly has rights to the Halo Series
