So you thought Modern Warfare 2 was expensive? As if Activision didn't make enough money already, the Black Ops RRP has been raised to a monster £54.99 in the UK, which is around $83 in the US.

Call of Duty games have always been expensive, but in my opinion, this is just too far. For me, games should be no more than £40. Just think, you could probably buy a PS2 and multiple games for the same price.

So what about you guys, are you going to play £55 for Black Ops? Personally, I'll probably fork out, purely because I love the Call of Duty series, and I'm guessing that'll be the feeling amongst most of you. How much do you think Black Ops is worth, considering the profit made by Activision from Modern Warfare 2?

IN america most brand new games for a System(Not handheld) are 49.99-59.99
79.99 was for the Special Edition MW2, which hopefully the price shown here was a mistake and its the "Special Edition".
But when I was a kid all games were 30$ cash, handheld or not.
Its sad when these companys are millions of dollars ahead of what they need AT THE RELEASE DATE. In these hard times someone is lucky enough to have a job. I'd be VERY suprised if they sold it for 70+(Not special edition).
Sadly if they sell it for 83$ , I do not think they will have a great turn around as they think they will.
