For those of you eagerly jumping into your Halo: Reach beta, myself included, this news will save you from any disappointment.

The beta, beginning just yesterday, is experiencing many server issues, due to the high server demand. These issues include issues with matchmaking, to issues in evening accessing certain game modes. The play lists specifically suffering from these issues include "Arena Mode", "Free-for-All" and "Grab Bag".

On May 7th, an elite "Invasion" mode will be available in the beta.

Then, on May 14th, a "Generator Defense" mode will become available.

Lastly, for those of you who are interested in collecting gear for your Xbox Live avatars, any Xbox Live Gold user who plays at least one game in the beta will receive a Halo: Reach hoodie for your avatar.

Sooner or later you simply have to face the reality of it: Unless parents begin to restrict their children from playing M rated titles, you're always going to have to deal with obnoxious children from time to time. Really, though, you can't blame it all on younger groups of people. Plenty of adults are just as immature at times when it comes to online gaming as children.

Also, simply because of the issues with Activision and Infinity Ward does not go to imply that Activision is going to mess things up. According to my information, they give plenty of creative freedom to their developers, and only had issues with Infinity Ward due to insubordination. While I think Activision may partially be to blame, Infinity Ward has to take a majority of the blame in my opinion.

My point is, don't assume all Activision published games are going to be of low quality from here on out. Winky Winky
