According to UK threapist Steve Pope, who is a member of the BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists), with a B.A. in Law, an Advanced Certificate in Counselling and a Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy, "spending two hours on a game station is equivalent to taking a line of cocaine in the high it produces."
Now I'm sorry, but this is simply crazy. Ok, so this guy has some serious qualifications, but really? Either this is the worst coke ever seen on the entire planet, or it's the most amazing video game ever created, we just haven't heard about it yet. This really did shock me, and I think it annoys me how ignorant some people can be on the issue. No way in hell should 2 hours of gaming ever be compared to 1 line of coke, and I know that with zero medical qualifications. What are your thoughts?

I've never done drugs but I know how addicting it is and I've seen what it does to people. This doctor's statement is ridiculous, people like playing video games maybe a bit to much sometimes.. But I'm sure they could stop if they wanted to with ease. Unlike Coke.

Bullshit, how could this be possibly true?
I think police, government, and other forms of authority would have taken action, and removed all video games from existence by now.
I mean hey, they made marijuana illegal, when there is barely anything wrong with it.
I may be incorrect, for I don't have much knowladge on the issue regarding what cocaine does to a person, but I just don't see how parents could not have known, and confiscated their children's video games.
