Alright so as you see in the image above Activision ripped Jack Black from Brutal Legend.

First a little history: BrĂ¼tal Legend, the incredibly ambitious action/strategy/driving game from Tim Schafer and Double Fine Productions, was originally meant to be published by Sierra.

Sierra was taken over by Activision and they wanted nothing to do with Brutal Legend. Then EA decided to pick up the game and sell it which was released in October of 09. Activison then threw a hissy-fit about it and they decided to put it into Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock

In the game though his name is probably Axel Steel, who always kinda reminded me of Jack Black. My guess is that Activison will say something along the lines of oh I didn't realized that it looked so alike or some other type of b/s they will come up with.

Also there will be a quest mode in GH:WoR "an otherworldly tale, narrated by KISS frontman Gene Simmons, a conflict between the rock 'n roll gods that can only be resolved by playing Guitar Hero"

And is a fantasy tale set in the World of Rock, where rock music is the religion, a guitar is the most powerful magical object in the world, and you have to assemble an army of rockin' warriors to take on the evil Beast who has banished music from the world. Wait a minute... does that sound familiar at all?

So basically Activison is making their own version of Brutal Legend. GREAT! Activison has to just mess up everything right?

To and fro the island.
You know its funny to me... Activision and Infinity Ward have their problems, and then suddenly Activision is portrayed as a greedy company who is out to take things from others. In all actuality I think that that is out of line, because Activision has proven in the past, both in and out of the Call of Duty series, to release good games. Sure there seem to be some issues behind the scenes at time, but you can't blame them for taking these sort of opportunities.

It is, however, a bit irritating that they originally didn't want anything to do with Brutal Legends, and that they now are bringing the main character of the series into one of their games. It does seem a bit unfair, and as if Activision is abusing their rights and authority. All the same, we can't really judge this game until we see it. Perhaps it will be very similar to Brutal Legends, but simply because the description sounds like it does not mean it is going to be presented by us in the same way whatsoever. Keep in mind this is still Guitar Hero, and my bet is that, in terms of gameplay, we're going to see little to not resemblance between this and Brutal Legends.

They've been doing this for years and have pretty much milked the CoD & Guitar Hero franchises to death. Besides, we all knew what they were like before the IW "incident" and this just adds to it. Actually it's kinda odd; as of late EA & Activision have totally switched places in terms of greed! :O

I'm not going to buy another CoD or Guitar Hero game again. I mean sure, CoD4 and the original Guitar Hero games were ****ing epic, but now it's the same thing but different shit.

MW2 = CoD4 noob friendly. And now all the new Guitar Hero games are just different bands with new songs. Why not just 1 with all the bands and all the songs? And a good all-around player friendly CoD with barely any issues?

if they did that then where would activision get any profit???

same with guitar hero...
I am sorry sir but your logic is just un comprehendable to activison

Fun Fact time. Activision was gonna publish this, If this is an old image which it looks to be then they must have used it when they were still planning to publish the game.
