Hulu-the internet's leading company that provides an alternative to the Television, has recently announce Hulu +

Hulu + allows subscribers to stream current episodes from hot TV shows right to their Gaming Console, Mobile Device, Internet-Ready TV, and Internet-Ready Blu Ray Player.

Some of the current TV shows available are:

Now, every single one of the TV shows above ^ have won multiple awards for being amazing shows.

These are NOT the only shows that can be viewed though, some of the others include: 24, American Dad, Bones, Friday Night Lights, Lie to Me, Lost, and The Cleveland Show. These shows are still currently running, and are updated with the week's newest episodes.

Also available to watch are old TV shows. Some of the older TV shows that are available to watch are: The X-Files (every episode), Law & Order: SVU (all episodes), Buffy the Vampire Slayer (every episode), Highlander (every season) Among many other great TV shows.

To have access to Hulu +, a $10 per month fee is required, not too bad a price for an alternative to Cable or Satellite TV.

If you were wanting to use Hulu+ on your PS3 however, you need to have PSN+ which makes that $120 a year fee for just Hulu+ jump to $170 a year.

Now, this may be a big bust for people who have purchased PSN+ thinking they would get Hulu + for free, sadly they are wrong.

Every other device that can steam Hulu + only needs to pay for Hulu +, with the exception of the Xbox 360, because no information, other than the fact that it will be released in early 2011 has been released.

This doesn't really have an effect on me, because I don't have PS3 and if I did, I would just stream it on my laptop either way. It doesn kinda suck for PS3 users who already purchases PSN+ just because they thought Hulu+ would be free for PSN+ users.

At $170 per year, it's about $14.16 a month... compared to Netflix at $8.99. If the price point was closer to Netflix, I'd sign up

Yeah but those are totally different markets. Hulu is current TV shows, while Netflix is movies and tv shows on dvd already. You cant go watch the brand new episode of house on netflix, while you can on Hulu.

Good point they are different services. However at the $14 price point for me, Hulu Plus, doesn't offer a value.

It will offer a value for someone who doesn't have cable television with DVR services. You could argue my $110 a month directv bill can be reduced to $14 with Hulu Plus.

As more internet ready devices are sold and faster (fiber) networks are rolled out... this service will become more popular.

Good post all together.
