The Most Anticipated Games of the Year

This years is now officially over Electronic Entertainment Expo, and all that anticipation led up to a terrific show with tons of great games on all platforms; the Xbox 360, the PlayStation 3, the Wii, the PC, and handheld consoles a like. And going into the event, the decision of which game was going to be desired was chosen by you.
Yet again, E3 was put on an amazing display of next generation gaming including the likes of; new motion-control games, a brand-new portable Nintendo system, several highly anticipated games that never showed up, and several more games that not only did appear at E3 but also surpassed everyone's expectations. But now the votes for the most anticipated game of the year are in and the results look like this....

Claiming the top spot, with a mighty 12,009 nominations is Crysis 2, which is this time not only for PC, but also PS3 and Xbox 360. Which is a great relief for many gamers, myself included. Smile Powered by CryEngline 3 this game is set to top all others with its captivating graphics. This really is set to one of the games of the year, a must have on any gamers list.

Taking a triumphant second spot with 11,416 nominations is The Legend of Skyward Sword which is set for the Wii, featuring one-to-one controls that allow you to wield your remote in the way you want Link to swing his sword. A great release for all you Wii owners out there.

Not far behind with 11,270 nominations, Star Wars: The Old Republic is set to hit the PC, with another sequel. The game set to be made by BioWare is developing a massively multiplayer game, set in the same universe as its award-winning Star Wars RPGs. Which is a bonus for PC gamers.

Down at fourth place is Sid Meier's Civilization V with an impressive 9,785 nominations, this another game set to hit the PC. Will this be better than previous ones, but for that answer we can only wait.
