Before you all moan at where this is posted, Jim told me to post it here!
So here is the interview that eventually took place between me and Jim!
Winty: Where is Jim from?
JimErased: Well I was originally born in Mordor but my parents decided it was too dangerous with the war and that, so I moved to Norfolk. Bad choice on the parent's part but there you go.
Winty: Haha, oh well you win some you lose some, so newly appointed admin, how does that feel?
JimErased: It feels great! I've seen a lot of stuff around the forums that needs doing, and because of the homepage situation no one has been able to do it, so now I can finally get stuff done. I really enjoyed helping people as a moderator and now I can help even more with my red jumpsuit on.
Winty: Nice, I like the thinking, any information you can release on what's to hit NGU?
JimErased: Well of course there is the homepage that is coming, and if you have seen the preview Gobble posted, it's pretty damn awesome! But other than that, there's not a lot that I'm really that clued up on. I'm only new to the admin team, I don't get all the secrets told to me yet.
Winty: I am sure you will though, so NGU what brought you to the site? Another glitcher man are you?
JimErased: Ohh yeah, unlike most people who came for the CoD4 UFO mode or the leaderboard hack, I originally joined NGB for CoD4 old school glitches! And when Outie left and started NGU, I gradually came over became part of the site. Me and my cousin cousin used to go on YouTube on his PS3 before I had one, look at eXoOutsider's videos and do them ourselves. 'Twas magical. I still remember the showdown video that he made, that was my favourite.
Winty: Very nice, glad to hear a change, but after all it is a gaming forum so that is how most are expected to join the site, so in all your time here what have been the most memorable moments?
JimErased: My demotion after 24 hours was probably a low point but is still memorable, but one of the funniest things I remember is when there was a picture put in the notice of "me and Gobble" and it was 2 guys in a Peel Trident. It made me laugh for ages. I still have a link for it:
You must login or register to view this content.
That was one of the highlights.
Winty: Ouch bet that was bad and that picture is epic. So what made you stay with the site and to this day?
JimErased: The community. It wouldn't be the same without the members that have come and gone. They practically run the forum, I mean without the members what would NGU be? Nothing. It's the members that make all the content that I really enjoy reading, from the gaming hacks and glitches stuff, to the random conversations in the shoutbox, to the random pictures in general discussion. It all adds up!
Winty: Yep, I certainly would have to agree with you, I have enjoyed my time on the site and hopefully will continue to for a long time. When you're not on the site what do you get up to?
JimErased: I generally like to rendez-vous with my friends a lot of the time. We regularly get the people who can drive together and all go to the beach. I've had some awesome times with those guys. I'm also a keen guitar player, although at the moment my guitar is in very bad shape and completely unplayable so I haven't done much with that lately. Also 6th form is getting insane so "lots of study" for me. I also fall a lot.
Winty: Sounds good, so JimErased how did the name come about? And has that always been your name?
JimErased: I originally signed up under lloydee7 which is my PSN name, but as we know, a lot of people can't spell and I kept getting people calling me rare ol' names like lolydee and stuff like that so I thought it was time for a change. I went through many names, Osama Jimladen one of the funniest, until I got JimErased. The name originates from Jim, being my name and the Erased part from the muse song Citizen Erased. I'm a huge Muse fan, it seemed right!
Winty: Nice story, giving us some more information about you. So music wise besides Muse, who else do you enjoy listening to?
JimErased: I like anything that you can pick up and play along to. So like stuff using real instruments not like this dub step and drum and base crap, although I do like a bit of pendulum. My favourite genre of music is probably Indie or Rock. They appeal to me most, and that's ROCK not Dan's baby rape music!
Winty: Haha, I see and also I hate that 'music' as well, so where does Jim see himself in 10 years?
JimErased: I see myself ages 27.

I don't really know to be honest; the furthest forward I think about is what is for tea! But my ambition is to become a fast jet pilot in the RAF. Ever since I was little I had a huge love of planes. Good times.
Winty: First person to say that first bit, I was expecting it from quite a few. Also very nice, so if there was to be anyone in the world you could meet, who would it be?
JimErased: Definitely Matt Bellamy, the lead vocalist/lead guitarist/composer/general awesomeness of Muse! Like I said, I'm a huge Muse fan, I would love to meet him and I can play a whole load of Muse songs. They say you should never meet your idol because you'll only be disappointed, but with Bellamy, that can't be true!
Winty: Cool, so you have stated your views on music, what about T.V and film?
JimErased: At the moment I love Family Guy and The IT Crowd on the TV. I love a good comedy program; anything that makes me laugh is good in my books. I laughed for ages at the countdown gag on the IT Crowd and Family Guy is always good for a cheap giggle. As for film, has to be Top Gun or Black Hawk Down. Two of the greatest war films ever made! Top Gun especially since it's all about air to air combat, that's my kind of thing!
Winty: Interesting, so summer is round the corner for most, what are your plans for the holidays?
JimErased: Sleep loads and drink loads. Hopefully there will be a few parties I can get my way into, I love a good shin-dig and also plenty of time out with the friends, hopefully a load more beach trips! Although, my dad loves barbeques too much and I probably would have to stay at home everytime he makes one. He once made one IN THE SNOW! Some of you may remember that picture.
Winty: Haha, that sounds crazy but a great plan! Nearly 250,000 members on NGU, but who do you get along with best?
JimErased:I like to think I get along with everyone. I don't really have my favourites amongst members, but there are some that I just can't stand, but I won't mention any names on that one, but I treat every equally. But if you had to force me to choose someone, it would have to be the news guys. Gobble passed the torch down to me so now I keep a close eye on them all. That includes you Winty!
Winty: YAY! I feel privileged

What does your job on NGU mainly involve, along with news?
JimErased: Doing all the jobs the other admins don't want to do! Changing passwords and usernames is generally what I get up to these days whilst the big dogs Outie and Gobz get on with the homepage. I don't mind doing the dirty work if it pushes the homepage here faster. I'm just happy to be where I am.
Winty: That's the best way to see it I guess, any ideas on a release date for the long awaited homepage?
JimErased: Nope. Absolutely no idea what so ever!
Winty: Okay then, we will have to wait even though most can't, so any last comments you would like to add?
JimErased: Well longjohnsilver wants a shoutout so hi to him!
Winty: Sweet and any comments for aspiring members on the site?
JimErased: Report posts, stay active and generally help other members and you never know, you may be admin one day too!
Winty: He will be glad and Cal wants to know, when are you making him admin?
JimErased: When he gives me that £1000 he owes me!
Winty: Okay, he will be sure to pay you then

so that's it Jim, your interview is finally done! Thank you for your time, it's been great and will hopefully give members more insight into you.
JimErased: It's been a pleasure!
Winty: Glad to hear it, cheers.
JimErased: Woohooo!
Give any comments you want! And any questions you wish to ask I am sure Jim can answer them
Cheers,
Winty
