<b><u><font face="verdana" color="black" size="+2">An Interview with NP Carling26</font></b></u>
RedKnight:[/b] First off, NPCarling, thanks for taking the time to let me interview you.
NP Carling26:[/b] No problem.
RedKnight:[/b] To start off with, where are you originally from?
NP Carling26:[/b] A small town in Pennsylvania called Moscow.
RedKnight:[/b] Sounds interesting, in any case, how long have you been on the internet for? I noticed you're quite knowledgeable.
NP Carling26:[/b] Ahhh I can't even remember man. I recall my parents getting our first computer back in '98, and I used to play all those silly little games on the internet, so it's been a while.
RedKnight:[/b] No worries at all, how did you come to join NGU?
NP Carling26:[/b] Well, about two or so years ago, right after I got Call of Duty 4, I looked up glitches on youtube, and saw Outsiders videos, at the time I didn't think of Joining, but after a month or two of seeing "Join www.NextGenUpdate.com" in every one of his videos, I decided I'd see what it was all about.
RedKnight:[/b] Well, we all know Outsider's videos were very impressive. After all, I found NGU the same way. However, It's no secret that your User ID on the site is around 9000th. Since you weren't here from the start, would you mind telling us a little on how you worked your way up to Admin?
NP Carling26:[/b] The same way any other member can. I just showed an extreme interest in the website, which is how I worked myself up to becoming a mod. Then it was simply showing dedication until I worked my way up to Super Mod. From then I just kept moderating, yet keeping the dedication and I showed that I wanted to continue to help the website, and finally around the time Outsider started becoming somewhat inactive, he promoted me.
RedKnight:[/b] Definitely a good choice on Outsider's behalf. So what's your favourite aspect of NGU itself?
NP Carling26:[/b] I gotta say the community. There are people here that I've known and been friends with since day one, and more people continually register and become apart of this great community.
RedKnight:[/b] So, since you've been gaming for a long time, what's the best game you've ever played? Also, what kind of game do you prefer to play?
NP Carling26:[/b] Call of Duty 4 for sure. I played that game pretty much every day in Summer 2008. The multiplayer just never got boring, especially playing it with my friends. And, as for the type of game I prefer to play, well, FPS shooters.
RedKnight:[/b] Well, you're not alone there. Other than gaming and surfing the internet, what do you like to do in your spare time?
NP Carling26:[/b] I play basketball with my friends alot, and every couple of weekend we all go to the movies, or out to the town. I'm just like everyone else, I hangout with my friends, go to parties, all of that.
RedKnight:[/b] Of course, I've also realised you watch a lot of films. Which is your favourite movie?
NP Carling26:[/b] That's a good question, and to be honest, I'm really not sure what my 'favorite' film is. I have some really good ones I like, Like Law Abiding Citizen and The Dark Knight, but not one that is my absolute favorite.
RedKnight:[/b] I also know you listen to Hollywood Undead, although what other bands and/or music do you listen to?
NP Carling26:[/b] Hard Rock is my favorite Genre. Bands like Linkin' Park, Three Days Grace, Rise Against, A Day to Remember, and others like it are some of my favorites.
RedKnight:[/b] Well, the community's always keen to hear about promotions, is there anything more you can tell us?
NP Carling26:[/b] We're always considering promotions and looking for members who show dedication and activity in the community.
RedKnight:[/b] Well, that just about wraps up my main questions for this interview. However, is there anything else you'd like to say?
NP Carling26:[/b] Yes, of course. You guys can expect a lot of pleasant surprises and changes coming to NGU in the near future. I'm really looking forward to them, and I think you guys will really enjoy them.
RedKnight:[/b] That sounds very exciting, I'll certainly look forward to it. Again, thanks for the time you've taken to let me perform this interview and thank you for your particularly informative answers.
NP Carling26:[/b] No problem, glad we could do it!
It's clear that NP Carling26 is an extremely valued member of our community. It's also nice to get to know a little about the people behind the usernames. Do you guys agree?
