Dead Rising 2, the much acclaimed sequel to Dead Rising, is set to hit stores on September 28th on both the Xbox 360, and the Playstation 3. This is a big development for PS3 users because Dead Rising 2, along with the original, were supposed to be Xbox 360 Exclusives.

There will be 2 versions of the game, a Collector's Edition and a Regular Edition, and the contents of the Limited Edition vary from the PS3 and the Xbox 360.



There are two different Zombrex Editions, one for the PS3, and one for the Xbox 360. Both versions are $79.99, and here is what each includes



The 83 minute Zombrex Dead Rising Sun motion picture, is a movie that was based off of the Dead Rising series. Here is a trailer for it.

Now, for information on the Actual Game!

The Storyline of Dead Rising 2 is that you play Chuck Greene, who must find a cure for his daughter's disease while surviving against the zombies in Las Vegas.

One unique feature for this game, is that you can combine two weapons, to make a Super-Weapon. One example of one of these weapons is the Paddlesaw, which is a Chainsaw and a Paddle combined.

Based on this Screenshot, it looks like the game involves killing more zombies than everyone else, while riding around in some sort of vehicle, while on an ice-rink.

Overall, I think Dead Rising 2 will be a game that people should definitely check out, because, if it's anything like the original, then this game will be loads of fun.[/COLOR]

wow dude, when i had my Xbox DeadRising was a very good game, loved the unless hours of killin' Zombeh's lol :carling:

Trouble with these games is they need to pick up the graphics alot

hell yea, tell me about it ftw! That's what I loved with Nazi Zombies in WaW, it was such a nice chill co-op game to play with friends. Take a cold beer, talk about all daily crap and just killing some zombies :carling:

I've been waiting for this game for some time, and gonna get it right away it's out

Frankly, I'm undecided as to whether or not I'm going to throw in the extra money for this one. I'll be buying it, no doubt, but I don't know if I need the extra shit. For those of you (being none of you) who knew me during the time when I was actively playing Dead Rising [1], you'll know I'm a big fan of it. When it comes to these games, though, I'm a lot more casual. Instead of thinking of strategies and things like that, I'm like: "WTF is this?! Looks cool!", and then I go on a crazy rampage, killing various zombies.

I'll be playing alongside some of you when this game comes out, but I'm not sure if I want any of the extra things coming with the Zombrex editions.

The thing I hated about the first game is that you had to save all the survivors. I hate that haha, I hope if they do bring it back, they tone it down a notch you know what I mean :p
