Naughty Dog Job Posting Asks for Xbox 360 Production Experience!

Naughty Dog the developers behind the Uncharted franchise are looking for a few talented folks to help them on their next project. It’s not clear what project their hiring for, but it does include a few interesting bits of information. Looking at the job listing on the site it looks like you’ll need production experience with the Xbox 360, PC and PS3 experience. Although Naughty Dog are owned by Sony we could see some kind of a cross platform with PC. This listing hints at a new game in production that will be available on all platforms whether it be 'Uncharted 3' or a complete new game remains to be seen, however it could just be a standard requirement. For more information you can check out the job posting on Naughty Dog’s career site for more details You must login or register to view this content..

So the question that remains unanswered is why would Sony want people with Xbox 360 experience?

What are your views on the subject?

Uncharted 3 on all platforms?

Let me know what you think?

Cheers,

Update:

Naughty Dog “Responds” to Multi-Platform Madness

When this was posted, Naughty Dog stated they were looking for game developers with Xbox 360 experience. This led way to the belief that perhaps the company would go multi-platform and sparked major debates numbering in the hundreds of responses. Turns out, as easily predicted by rational logic, Naughty Dog has no intentions of going multi-platform and made a quick remark recently reflecting so. Take a look at that comment below:

Not much to tell here other than the obvious. Seems that some people jumped to conclusions upon reading a racy headline which was attempting to pull a story out of thin air only to be squashed down by the official Naughty Dog account on a social networking tool. So all this was an out of hand rumour and PS3 owners and fans will be happy to know, it will continue to be an exclusive!

I would say uncharted 3 no they wouldnt want to downgrade there game would they? And if yhey are owned by Sony then i think that clears everything up. Are you sure it doesnt mean experience with the PS3, X360 and/or PC so any knowledge of any system, this means nothing about bein on 360 or PC lol

i highly doubt its for Uncharted 3 its and exclusive PS hasnt had many before now that were worth anything so if they let it go multi platform it will just prove how retarted the people at sony are

Probably have nothing to do with UC3.

However if sony will make the sequel of the GOTY 2009 on all platforms then I don't see a reason why won't Killzone 3 be on Xbox 360.

Didn't naughty dog say that they could never do Uncharted on Xbox because it doesnt have the power to do it like the PS3 does or something? I'm pretty sure i read that in an interview somewhere.

They just want people that can design good. Doesn't mean they're making it for 360.

They are getting greedy and want to move to other platforms as well. This was expected.

I hope they start working on US3 and not keep putting up more DLC for UC2
