Theatre Mode
The Theatre Mode will allow players to look back at their previous game from any players perspective, in first or third person. The camera can be detached and go in 'Free Cam Mode' which will allow you to fly around the map, seeing all of the particle effects frozen in real time. Treyarch's Online Director Dan Bunting told Inside Gaming he expects it to be used by competitive clans looking back at their last game and analysing the moves they and their opposition ade, and by casual gamers who desire to create video reels of their gameplay footage.
Currency System
The new currency system has been put in place to allow the gamer to engage with the unlock system. Instead of being being told at a specific level what you unlock, Treyrach have implemented a system which unlocks
features by level, and once the feature is unlocked the player can purchase any component of the feature with the currency.
Contracts
Some contracts will pay out in XP and others in currency. The system will all be time limited by game time. Players can target specific contracts for their weapon category of choice, Snipers for example will target contracts which will reward them.
Player Customization
Players will have the ability to unlock facepaint, unique perks and specific perk modules.
Combat Training
Combat Training will allow players to practice the online system without having to go in a ranked public match. They can become familiar with the online mechanics in Combat Training against computer AI's before going into ranked matches. It can also be used by the hardcore gamers to play out map tactics.
