The video shows snippets of some of the updated mechanics and new features which will be most noticeably seen in coop mode.

Portal was originally a game that required lots of time and patience to complete and was like no other puzzler ever created before. Portal 2 will live on with the same tricky levels to patiently weave one's way through but coop will bring an entirely new experience into the game. Teamwork and communication will have to always be used to work out the different patterns of puzzles that will unravel throughout the game.</b></font><font face="verdana" color="black"</center>

It actually makes you use your brain, rather then some games on the market. Watch some gameplay videos, it'll make it clear.
