No, because most cod players are only worried about kills and in this game completing objectives is more important. most cod players don't do well in this game because it's all about teamwork and in cod you are pretty much only thinking about yourself, if you only care about kills or k/d ratio just stay on cod. if the above statements don't apply to you then give it a try. reaching lvl 50 (highest rank) will take a long time (250+ hours).

Thanks for this. I probably won't get this because I do go for kills and FFA is one of my favorite game type.

Yes. I did the same thing and now I hate MW2 and I love BC2. The graphics are better and there are so many things online that there aren't on MW2. You can drive Jeeps, Hummers, Helicopters, Four-Wheelers, Tanks, ect. Explosives on the game are amazing. You can plant C4 on the corners of a building and when you detonate it there is a huge explosion and the building crumples and kills anyone inside of it. I love the online. Campaign is really good too. You find yourself racing through the deserts on dune buggy's or jumping out of an airplane after the guy that stole your parachute. I strongly recommend buying this action-packed game.

In Flames Much?
Are you a shooter player ?

Yes or no
If you only play COD then no....
If you play shooters can understand the differences then get it. Game works on teamwork more then COD.

And RECON is not just a sniper holding back be a bit like a COD QS moving forward supporting your team. Using a handgun etc

And it great

As ResistTheSun has said, I'ts a very different playstyle to COD.
You won't like it if your a COD only type guy.

It is a good game and well worth the money Smile

Thanks everyone.

I downloaded a very early demo of Battlefield Bad Company.

I didn't really like the feel of the game, but I still hear it's fun from tons of people.

All my friends who play CoD says it sucks.

I still don't know. Maybe I'll buy it if I get some extra money.

the game online is better than mw2 imo but less competitive. once you get all perks it is easy to get a lot of kills. then again in rush game mode, your teammates as defenders sometimes detonate objectives they are supposed to defend which is retarded

If the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 demo is still in the PSN store, download it and see if you enjoy playing it. Even if you do, I would advise that you buy Medal of Honor when it is released instead. It's developed by the same studio, so it will have similar gameplay mechanics. It also has smaller maps, so it will be easier for you to transition to it from COD. Most importantly, it will be a fresh start for you and everyone else, so you won't be at as much of a disadvantage.
