Avatar Awards

In Halo Reach there are five different helmets which can be unlocked for your Xbox Live avatars.

Carter’s Helmet - On the Campaign mode, uder the Legendary difficulty setting finish an entire level without dying.

Emile’s Helmet - In either the Multiplayer or Firefightmatchmaking modes, when an enemy is lunging at you kill him with an Energy Sword. This will also earn you the Bulltrue Medal.

Jorge’s Helmet - In the Multiplayer mode, earn a Killtacular. Do this by killing five opponents in a row with no longer than 4 seconds passing between each kill.

Jun’s Helmet - In either the Campaign or Firefight modes, kill 100 enemies consecutively without dying.
Kat’s Helmet - In the Multiplayer mode avenge the death of one of your teammates.

Achievements

Bungie included a total of 49 Achievements in Halo Reach. These are spread across the Campaign, Firefight and Multiplayer modes.

Cheat - Club Errera

In the New Alexandria level of Halo Reach, as you are directed to head to Club Errera after clearing out the hospital, head back to the hospital and go below the entrance. There you will find a green switch on a ledge with some trees. Activate the siwtch and then fly to Club Errera.

You will then see Covenant enemies dancing to ‘Never Surrender’ when you enter the club. There is another switch on the roof of Club Errera to switch the music to ‘Siege of Madrigal’.

Secret Room

In the ‘This Cave is Not a Natural Formation’ of The Package level, you will be instructed to defend Dr. Halsey’s Lab. After you have defeated all of the enemies while playing on the Legendary difficulty setting, a switch will appear in the far area between Turrets A and B. This may take some time finding.

You will need two players to activate it. One of the players must use a jetpack to fly down and activate the switch before dying as they reach the ground. This will open the ’01’ right side door on Halsey’s Lab. There will be a pack of Sangheili Generals behind the door waiting to fight. Once you enter the room behind the door, you will be teleported into a hallway that leads to a special room that continues several tributes to the Halo community.

Data Pads

The first 9 of the Data Pads can be found in any difficulty settings, whereas the final tenth can only be found on the Legendary difficulty setting. 
These do not unlock anything but do provide insight into the story of Halo Reach.

Easter Egg

In the final cut scene of Halo Reach there is a special Easter egg hidden. During the part where you see the small ship enter the cargo bay, hold right on the right analog stick, this will guide you to the right side of the screen and you will be able to see it.
