'Respawn intends to develop a multi-platform product that works on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, it's product will be based on new video game IP and will be funded through its publishing deal with Electronic Arts, one of the top publishers in the industry.'

Heads of Respawn Jason West and Vince Zampella told IGN they were developing a 'big blockbuster title'. In a snide comment referring to their old agreement with Activision they mentioned that the team will own whatever the franchise builds.

Jason West and Vince Zampella are known word-wide for the critically acclaimed Call of Duty franchise. The two were fired from Infinity Ward last month.
