Activision take it one step further by buying a huge billboard in Times Square.
This big billboard is raking in the cash as more copies are being bought.

Activision already have a lot of pre-orders for Black Ops so why are they going out the way to get more,
are they trying to compete with Modern Warfare 2 ?
Are they tying to be the most pre-ordered game ever ?

Infinity Ward made the game, activision supplied them with money and owned everything IW made.

well waw was broken and guns were never balanced no matter how much people complained. and cod4 couldnt be balanced so mw2 was first game they could and they did relese some balance patches at first but people still complained so y bother and if they released a balance patch im sure they must listen to community

They wouldn't have fixed it anyway.
@The other guy, W@W had one unbalanced gun. They patched one thing with MW2 within the first two weeks and never touched the game since.
And no need to bring CoD4 into this, or W@W really.
MW2 pretty much killed/is killing the CoD series.
Will Black Ops save it? Hopefully but all I know is Treyarch are more involved with their community.
