As many developers these days go "patch crazy" releasing updates, which sometimes actually remove features, this is the perfect tool for getting these much loved modes back online to play with your friends.
Thanks to our very own hacking guru <a href="

EliteMossy</i></a>, Playstation 3 finally has a patch blocker that works efficiently, without signing you out, and something where you can play your games online after it has had a patch. A great example of where this could be used is Infinity Ward's Modern Warfare 2.
As many games were upset to realise, a patch to the game deleted the gamemode "Cage Match" from the game mode list, but that's just one prime example of what is capable.
Previously, other methods involved different patch blockers, including theUnkn0wn's patch blocker, using proxy websites, using other games including as Resistance: Fall of Man and Motorstorm, or just generally signing in and out over and over until the system just "gave up" asking you to update.
A warning with this though, you need to delete your "Game Data Utility" which will store game add-ons amongst various other things. Also this will require to to be playing with other "bypassed" users too as you cannot connect across 2 different build versions.
