Treyarch and Activision have a daunting task in front of them them, and that is to stop the piracy of their golden child video game. Only one day after gamers hacked their way into the Black Ops Multiplayer Beta, the entire game has already been released online to illegally download and play. Giving Treyarch very few options to deal with the situation, like many other studios they could just bite the bullet and hope not many people decide to download it or they could take action against it.
If they do decide the latter then they can take legal action against the people who leaked it and get it taken down or they can release it early, which would make gamers all over happy. Unfortunately that most likely won't happen simply because of the success Infinity Ward had in stopping the leak of their game using legal action. Another reason they probably won't be releasing it early is because, these dates are strategically set to make sure that not only enough games are are made but also shipped on time to game stores around the world.
The anticipation of this game is near the highest a game has ever received and no matter how many people download this game it will still be one of the top selling game of all time. Either way as of now no legal action has been taken and the game is still set to hit stores on November 9th, 2010 for the PS3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii.
