Platinum Trophy (Platinum) - Awarded when all other trophies have been unlocked.

Collect all other trophies for Call of Duty: Black Ops.

Death to Dictators (Bronze) – Take down Castro with a headshot.

During the mission ‘Operation 40′ once you enter the room aim for his head and shoot.

Sacrifice (Bronze) – Ensure your squad escapes safely from Cuba.

(Story-based – can’t be missed).

Vehicular Slaughter (Silver) - Destroy all enemies on vehicles during the prison break.

During the Vorkuta mission you’ll be during one stage of the level shooting down trucks and motorcycles. Keep shooting down all the enemies until you get it. If you don’t, kill yourself or restart from the last checkpoint and try again. I’d advise to do this on the lowest difficulty to make things easier.

Slingshot Kid (Bronze) - Destroy all slingshot targets in 3 attempts.

During the mission entitled ‘Vorkuta’ you’ll go to the top of a building and must take down 3 targets with a massive slingshot you’re using.

Give me liberty, or give me death (Bronze) - Escape Vorkuta.

(Story-based – can’t be missed).

VIP (Bronze) – Receive orders from Lancer.

(Story-based – can’t be missed).

A safer place (Bronze) – Sabotage the Soviet space program.

(Story-based – can’t be missed).

Tough Economy (Bronze) - Use no more than 6 TOW guided missiles to destroy the tanks in the defense of Khe Sanh.

During a mission called ‘S.O.G.’ you’ll be placed on the back of a vehicle and the missiles can be used. It’s easy to direct these onto the tanks so take your time and don’t rush it otherwise you’ll have a chance of missing the tank.

Looks don’t count (Bronze) – Break the siege in the battle of Khe Sanh.

(Story-based – can’t be missed).

Raining Pain – (Bronze) Rack up a bodycount of 20 NVA using air support in Hue City.

During the mission ‘The Defector’ you’ll come to a point where air-support is in your grasp. Keep hammering it towards enemies and as you approach the end you should have the trophy.

The Dragon Within (Bronze) – Kill 10 NVA with Dragon’s Breath rounds.

During the opening stages of ‘The Defector’ mission you’ll be given a SPAS-12 with dragon rounds contained inside. Simply kill 10 enemies with the weapon.

SOG Rules – (Bronze) Retrieve the dossier and the defector from Hue City.

(Story-based – can’t be missed).

Heavy Hand – (Bronze) Use the Grim Reaper to destroy the MG emplacement.

During a mission named ‘Victor Charlie’ you should acquire the Grim Reaper when you proceed to clear a village. Upon seeing the MG emplacement, get into the house you see closest to you and aim the Grim Reaper towards it to destroy it.

Up close and personal (Bronze) - Silently take out 3 VC.

During the same mission (Victor Charlie) a point will arise where you’re in possession of only a knife. You’ll find yourself following Woods where you’re going to eventually come towards a sleeping enemy and others around him. Knife them as the game tells you and the trophy is yours.

Double Trouble (Bronze) – Use only dual wield weapons to escape Kowloon.

During the ‘Kowloon’ mission players the dual wield weapons will already be in your possession. While you make your escape be sure not to fire a single wield weapon if you’ve accidentally picked it up as the trophy won’t unlock. Also, I’d recommend doing this on the easier difficulties.

Broken English (Bronze) - Escape Kowloon.

(Story-based – can’t be missed).

Lord Nelson (Silver) - Destroy all targets and structures while making your way up the river:

During a mission called ‘Crash Site’ destroy all the structures while you’re making your way up the river.

Never get off the boat (Bronze) - Find the Soviet connection in Laos.

(Story-based – can’t be missed).

Pathfinder (Bronze) – Guide the squad through the Soviet outpost without them getting killed.

During the mission ‘WMD’ you’ll be leading your squad in a over-the-top view. Only two enemies should be killed while the over-the-top view is in action, so it’s fairly straightforward.

Mr. Black OP (Silver) - Enter the Soviet relay station undetected.

With extreme prejudice (Silver) - Get to the POW compound in the Hind using only rockets.

I’d recommend doing this on the lowest difficulty. During the mission entitled ‘Payback’ just use rockets as your weapon.

Russian bar-b-q (Bronze) - Incinerate 10 enemies with the flamethrower attachment in the POW compound.

During a mission called ‘Payback’ as you’re entering a cave an enemy will be using a flamethrower attachment on you. After he’s killed pick up the weapon and use it on 10 people. Also, again, I’d recommend doing this on the lower difficulty levels.

Light Foot (Silver) - Escape the ship with 2:15 left on the timer in Veteran.

Relax. Yes, there’s checkpoints to make the trophy more easy. During the ‘Project Nova’ mission you should kill all the enemies and then plant the bomb. Refer to the video below for further assistance.

Some wounds never heal (Bronze) - Escape the past.

(Story-based – can’t be missed).

I hate monkeys (Bronze) - Kill 7 monkeys in under 10 seconds in the Rebirth labs.

Similar to kill the chickens under a certain time limit in Modern Warfare 2, there’s a mission in Black Ops named ‘Rebirth’ where there’ll be monkeys. Use your full arsenal of weapons (your weapon, grenade launcher, grenades) to kill them.

No Leaks (Silver) - Make it through the NOVA 6 gas without dying on Rebirth Island.

During the mission ‘Rebirth’ take it slow where ever you go. Cut through corners and take out any enemies. this trophy Once you’ve taken off your mask you’ll obtain the trophy.

Clarity (Bronze) - Crack the code:

(Story-based – can’t be missed).

Double Whammy (Bronze) – Destroy both helicopters with one Valkyrie rocket from the deck of the ship.

During the mission ‘Redemption there’ll be a point where two helicopters need to be destroyed. Players should grab the Valkyrie rocket and swiftly head into cover to avoid death. Once the helicopters are close enough, which is located in your HUD, guide the rocket by firing until it’s between the two helicopters then detonate it.

BLACK OP MASTER (Gold) - Complete the campaign on Hardened or Veteran difficulty.

I advise doing the Veteran play-through as you’ll get the story-based mission completion trophies with it. While it isn’t as hard as Call of Duty: World at War’s Veteran play-through you may of heard gamers having a very frustrating and difficulty time with this particular difficulty mode. The key is to just take your time and think tactically when taking out enemies. Always take cover when enemies are firing at you because a few shots will kill you. Go around corners when you can and always avoid being at the center of the action.

Stand Down (Silver) - Complete the campaign on any difficulty.

Self explanatory.

Frag Master (Bronze) - Kill 5 enemies with a single frag grenade.

Easiest place to do this is during a mission entitled ‘The Defector’ the tank should be moving and there’s a house on the opposite side of you which is filled with enemies. Throw a frag grenade in there. If you don’t succeed, commit suicide and attempt it again until you get it.

Sally Likes Blood (Bronze) - Demonstrate killer economic sensibilities by taking down 3 enemies with a single bullet.

During a mission called ‘Numbers’ you’ll get to a point where your team mates are moving a fridge. Get inside once the fridge is moved and get sniper in front of you. Then you get to a point where three enemies are coming at you at once, so with your sniper aim for the first enemy and the bullet should penetrate him as well as the others behind him.

Unconventional Warfare (Bronze) - Use the explosive bolts to kill 30 enemies in the campaign.

During the mission ‘Executive Order’ you’ll come across explosive bolts. Grab them and kill 30 enemies with them. Alternatively, bolts can also be found in the WMD mission.

Down and Dirty (Silver) - Complete ‘SOG’ and ‘The Defector’ on Veteran difficulty.

It’s your funeral (Silver) - Complete ‘Numbers’, ‘Project Nova’ and ‘Victor Charlie’ on Veteran difficulty.

Cold Warrior (Silver) - Complete ‘Operation 40′, ‘Vorkuta’ and ‘Executive Order’ on Veteran difficulty.

Not Today (Silver) - Complete ‘Crash Site’, ‘WMD’ and ‘Payback’ on Veteran difficulty.

Burn Notice (Silver) - Complete ‘Rebirth’ and ‘Redemption’ on Veteran difficulty.

Closer Analysis (Bronze) - Find all the hidden intel.

Refer to the video below. My advice is once you’ve completed the game, just go back to the mission selection menu and choose the lowest difficulty then find the intel as the enemies will be more lenient against you thus making it easier.

Date Night (Bronze) - Watch a film clip with a friend.

Invite your friend and then simply watch a film clip.

In The Money (Bronze) - Finish 5 Wager Matches ‘in the money’.

Go to the online mode and complete five of the matches.

Ready For Deployment (Bronze) - Reach rank 10 in Basic Training.

Go into training mode and keep progressing until you reach rank 10.

Hands Off the Merchandise (Bronze) – Kill the Pentagon thief before it can steal your load-out.

Firstly, keep two guns with full ammo. Places claymores in areas you know he’s on his way too because this will slow him down. Also, be sure to aim for his head as it’ll cause significant damage. If your first weapon is grabbed by him, be sure to chase him down with your second weapon.

See Me, Stab Me, Heal Me (Bronze) – Fire a Pack-a-Punched Ballistic Knife at a downed ally to revive them from a distance.

As the title suggests, you’re going to need to get someone to do this with in Zombie mode. Go to the mystery box and acquire a ballistic knife. After that, use the Pack-a-Punch machine. Then, the person without the ballistic knife should die – then just go to the player and revive them by shooting them with the knife.

Sacrificial Lamb (Bronze) – Shoot at or be shot by an ally with a Pack-a-Punch crossbow and kill six zombies with the explosion.

So, once again, you need a buddy to do this with. Go to the mystery box and grab yourself a crossbow. After that, go and use the Pack-a-Punch machine. The player with the crossbow should shoot the other player with you and then the player who was shot needs to run into a batch of zombies containing 6 or more and explode. If you don’t get the trophy, try again with a larger batch of zombies.

Just ask me nicely (Bronze) - Break free from the torture chair.

Continually press L2 and R2 when at the game’s Main Menu screen.

Insert Coin (Bronze) – Access the terminal and battle the forces of the Cosmic Silverback in Dead Ops Arcade.

After you’ve achieved the ‘Just ask me nicely’ trophy proceed to the terminal within the room and once there, type in ‘DOA’ to play the Dead Ops Arcade mode – a twin stick shooter.

Eaten by a Grue (Bronze) - Play Zork on the terminal.

When at the terminal, like the ‘Insert Coin’ trophy, simply type in Zork to play the Zork mode.

The Collector (Silver) - Buy every weapon off the walls in a single Zombies game.

You’ll want to round up a group of buddies who are good at the game’s Zombie mode for this trophy. You’ll need 13150 or over to acquire all the guns. Refer to the video below which showcases the weapon’s locations.

Easy Rhino (Silver) - In Dead Ops Arcade, use a Speed Boost to blast through 20 or more enemies at one time.

Simply get a batch of enemies together then press R1 to speed boost and you should have the trophy.
