A little over two weeks ago, Sony announced a price drop for the PSP Go. Now, they've announced another price drop. What was intended to 'revolutionize' the PlayStation Portable experience didn't impress most gamers, and this is the result.

This is a worldwide price drop, so the new prices are as follows:

United States - $199
United Kingdom - £123
Japan - ¥16,800

This is surely one of the quickest price reductions in the history of the gaming industry. If you've been contemplating on purchasing a PSP Go, this is the time, granted the significantly lowered price.

PSP another price drop? Crazy i really wanna get the new psp i have the older one and its really heavy and heard the new one supposed to be really light so that would be nice when having in pocket or caring around.

I probably wouldn't buy it even for $100 dollars. It just reminds me too much as a gameboy. I wouldn't want to play it in public, that just seems awkward.

And if I'm at home, there's never any reason to play it over a PS3 or XBOX.

No surprises there.
