A little over two weeks ago, Sony announced a price drop for the PSP Go. Now, they've announced another price drop. What was intended to 'revolutionize' the PlayStation Portable experience didn't impress most gamers, and this is the result.
This is a worldwide price drop, so the new prices are as follows:
United States - $199
United Kingdom - £123
Japan - ¥16,800
This is surely one of the quickest price reductions in the history of the gaming industry. If you've been contemplating on purchasing a PSP Go, this is the time, granted the significantly lowered price.

Yeah, seems these psps aren't selling good. I haven't owned a psp since the very first one came out, and I can't figure out which one I should buy, since there's I think 3 now? I'm not sure. But very nice post. Keep it up bro.
I don't intend on purchasing a PSP Go. The UMD disc inserting format isn't applied to this system, instead you have to download them. Which is a BIG downfall to Sony's creation on the new PSP.
I'd just stick with the regular PSP, since it's much better and it's more comfortable to use.
The price-drops are somewhat good to some people and sometimes irritating to others. It's irritating to me since for the PSP, I bought it when it first came out in the bundle pack for 300$, and later on they reduced the price to like 150$. That's a big loss for me, ain't it?
