The Kinect, released a mere 10 days ago, has already exceed 1 Million sales, says Microsoft. This is quite an accomplishment, and is getting on track to meet Microsoft's goal to sell 5 million Kinects by the end of the year.

Microsoft is not only looking at the sales of their new product, however. You may have heard that recently, PlayStation 3 sales have started to exceed that of the Xbox 360. Although that by no means the Xbox 360 is going under, Microsoft is hoping that with their new and popular product, console sales will be revitalized, putting the Xbox 360 ahead of the PlayStation 3 once more.

The new product can be bought for $150. Or, for double the price at $300, you can get the Kinect with a 4-gigabyte Xbox 360 console.

The Kinect has released in the United States and Europe, and will be hitting store shelves in Asia on Nov. 18.
