This thread explains how the director of the film Inception has interest in creating a game based upon the film.
The director of the film Inception has now confirmed the rumor of a game adaptation of dream-busting Hollywood blockbuster based on the film. As the blockbuster drummed up an amazing amount of sales in the cinema so why not in the world of video games, with a complicated story line already who wouldn't want to place yourself into the world of inception?

"I always imagined Inception to be a world where a lot of other stories could take place," he explained, "At the moment, the only direction we're channeling that is by developing a video game set in the world."
So not only may the game follow the storyline of film, but it will add in its own twist enabling the player to move there own way through the dream world. Doing such a thing could make the game playable over and over again as you can change you path through the game, making it different every time you want to play.
It also appears that the director Christopher Nolan has been very interested in the world of games and has had the very idea of an inception game for a while now. He seems keen to explore the world of a multiplayer game mode for inception involving role play.

As of yet though it appears this is as much as he is willing to revel over the matter of the game, but i am hoping we will see more information on the matter in the near future. As if you have seen the film this should get you very exited but we can only hope for now.
