Gran Turismo 5 - This wonderfully made game took 5 years to develop, but since it came out and has been a big hit, Kazunori Yamauchi isn't done adding new things to it. He will be fixing bugs/glitches in the game, & a few other things that fans have complained. He says the patch will be added before the New Years.
On Twitter, Yamauchi also discussed things things that never made it into the game, be it not fitting, or they just didn't want it in.
He also talked about a few things that he wanted into the game, but decided not to put them in:

Yamauchi revealed that he originally wanted to include some kind of open-world "free roam" mode in Gran Turismo 5, which -- by the sound of it -- would have included a large city to explore. Players would have been able to drive around in this mode while "respecting speed limits and obeying traffic laws," and even be able to stop their cars and get out and explore on-foot.
He says this won't be the last patch for GT5, after the damage patch he will put in before 2011 he's going to fix the 'blocky shadows' & camera angles in the game.
More content he will eventually add is perhaps having online 'lounges' and giving rewards for certain things done in races.
A few finishing things I couldn't translate -

A few other quick hits: Yamauchi is considering adding an option to remove the in-game HUD; he explains the face-tracking option is only available in Arcade mode and not GT mode because of memory issues with the PS3; and memory limits are also why the YouTube replay upload feature didn't make it in, as it was taking too long to render the videos (although he noted this is another feature that may eventually be added through a patch).
