Before the launch of PlayStation Home, gamers worldwide raved about how great the gaming social network would be. Sony praised it often, and the various delays convinced us that we'd be getting a one of a kind experience. Hell, for a moment there PlayStation Network was taking a big step forward that LIVE had not.

When Home finally did release, the various delays seemed silly, and although some people liked it, many gamers found it to be boring and not nearly as good as had been expected. Over time Home has come a long way, making various improvements and is gradually winning back PSN users back.

The next step? Well, PlayStation Home is under alien siege. Who's going to stop them? We are. In Hellfire Games' Novus Prime, players are employed to purchase customizable spaceships and weapons. You can play the game absolutely free, and quite frankly it looks like it just may have some potential.
