The anticipated Uncharted Movie starring Mark Wahlberg (confirmed) is still in the making, and it's turning out really good.
Director David O. Russell has been commenting on how the script is going and how he's been expanding the background of the story of Uncharted, he has included Drake's father & uncle, and goes into more detail, you're just going to have to wait for the movie.
"We'll have the family dynamic, which we've done in a couple of movies now. And then you take that and put it on the bigger, more muscular stage of an international action picture, but also put all the character stuff in it. That's a really cool idea to me."
Russell also says that the script is still in the making, so there will be quite a few changes, & nothing is fully confirmed on the movie. He also says that he doesn't want to take the story off of Drake too far, for it'll go off-topic of how the movie is supposed to relate to the videogames.

Yeah I heard about it. And I honestly think Mark Wahlberg is the best choice for Nathan Drake. Even when I was playing the game he reminded me of him. Anyway I think this movie will sort of turn out like the Tomb Raider movies.
I have have high hopes for this. I'm sure Sony and NaughtyDog will do everything in their power to make this one kick ass movie...let's see if that's enough
Mark Wahlberg may be apopular choice, but checkout Joe Flannigan. He's an actor who played Colonel Sheppard on Stargate Atlantis. I swear his likeness to Nathan Drake is uncanny. He even has the right sense of humor and action chops for the part.
