Recent news from US Playstation Blog is Resistance is indeed coming out in 2011, with much more features added onto the similar gameplay of Resistance 2, making your experience with this trilogy much more satisfying. I will be talking about alot of the things that have been confirmed, but remember, there is much more to it, because it's still in the making & Insomniac is still coming up with brilliant ideas to make it even better then it is before.

Joseph Capelli is indeed the main character of this title, if you don't know who he is, he played as the main character in all of the other Resistance games before. What Joseph is trying to do is journey across the United States to New York trying to turn the Chimera forces, because they have taken over.

It is quoted they have said:



Do you think that this is the last of the Resistance games?

Also, it is confirmed that there will be a weapons wheel so you don't have to have only two guns at once, making it easier for your weapon variety.

In addition to these confirmed notes, there will be co-op gameplay throughout the whole title. Be it campaign or online, so the rumors are true.

They have said that the online game will be a little bit more taken serious, meaning it will be better than Resistance 2.

So there you have it, Insomniac has said it will be better than the last 2 games, with alot more variety.

And I KNOW!! Fast ass year.

He was not the main charactor it was Nathan Hale and Cappelli was a support charactor in R2 and then (spoiler) shot hale at the end of R2 so he was the only guy left (spoiler end)

I wanted to play as Cappelli in R3 ever since the ending of R2. He is like Hale's legacy

Yay! Can't wait for it, loved R1 and R2. I thought R2 would be the end though, cos' Nathan becomes a Chimera.

I still do not know who joseph Copelli is, however in the EU versions the main character is called nathan hale, hen again haven't played it in a while to recall many of the other character names. which in the second resistance he gets turned into a chimera. so will be interesting to see this game when its released as i've always LOVED resistance ever since i first got my Ps3 and Resistance: Fall of man. the online on both games was amazing. I'm kinda hoping they don't give a weapon wheel as the game was more challenging with only two slots for guns.

Looks good, I wonder will we be able to bypass with this.
