The long awaited sequel to TES4:Oblivion which won Game of The Year in 2006, has been announced tonight during The Spike Video Game Awards, the trailer is shown below:

Scheduled Relase:The release date for Skyrim is planned to be November 11, 2011 which happens to be around when another installment of Mass Effect, a big franchise in the RPG genre of video games is scheduled to come out which may lead to conflict when the two heavy hitters in the business are released. Skyrim will most likely be for PS3, xBox 360 and PC, like it's predecessor(Oblivion) and all other RPGs Bethesda has made(the publisher of The Elder Scrolls series, Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas) that have been for xBox 360, PS3 and for PC.

About Skyrim: Skyrim is the farthest north province shown on maps of Tamriel. It is a very cold region which is home of the Nords(a race in The Elder Scrolls series). Be sure to get your coats and jackets ready for 11/11/11, the scheduled release!

Speculation/Analysis: It seems that the man when he says "They're already here" he is speaking the return of dragons and that are invading and or/attacking Tamriel. The man says they were already defeated by the "sons of Skyrim" which would be the Nords. The engravings show people getting killed by the dragons and it appears they have no defense against them. The man then says there is one they fear named Novak'leen and is "Dragon born." Novak must be of some sort of dragon descent and has the means to defeat them.

If you are anything like me, you have been hungry for moar since you finished TES4:Oblivion for a sequel to be released, scheduled or so much as even detailed and November 11th can't come soon enough Happy.

Tell me this: What do YOU think the main plot will be about in the 5th installment will be about(apart from dragons)?
