(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); EDIT: Due to the 1.05 GT5 update you can now make even more money with this method. 91k/3 mins I think.

This guide is going to show you my way of making money and experience in GT5. It allows you to gain 70,000 credits and 3500+ experience ever 3/4 minutes.

First of all, you're going to need to be level 21, so if you're not I suggest you get racing \O_o/.

At level 21 you'll unlock the race "Like the Wind" in the extreme series. It's got two races, the first one is easy if you have a fast car (Veyron, tuned ZR1) but the second one is really difficult unless you know what you're doing.

I suggest you raise some cash doing the 36k grind (expert series > turbo challenge > 1st race) until you raise enough money to buy a Corvette ZR1 and the cash to add racing mods (about 550000 Cr total)

When you've bought your ZR1, buy the racing upgrade and the rest of the upgrades needed in the tuning section (engine etc gets upgraded with the racing mod).

(If you're thinking "meh, I've got a Veyron, **** the ZR1" stop. You can't win this race in the Veyron for the simple reason that the Veyron can't get around the corners of this track without breaking)

Before you start the race, go into your garage and select tuning on your Corvette. Go to transmission and set your top speed to 242. Now go to Body/Chassis and set your down-force to the maximum possible on both the front and the back of the car.

Now, the race you're about to attempt is REALLY difficult so make sure you make the most of slipstream, it's very important. After about 2 laps you should have gained first position, from here you need to stay concentrating on the race and regularly look behind you to stop cars trying to overtake. When you finish both races in this competition (in 1st position) you should unlock the MINOLTA 88C-V LM race car.

When fully tuned, this car will DESTROY every car on the game. Use it to win the race you just did over and over again, netting you 70,000 Cr and 3500+/- experience per win.

The difference between the MINOLTA and a Veyron for example is the handling. You'll notice the MINOLTA's max BHP is around the 1000 mark which is lower than the Veyron. When trying to corner on the Indy speedway in a Veyron you will either have to break heavily or smash into the wall. In the MINOLTA you can just keep accelerating because the handling is so good. You should always use this to your advantage in all races.

The video below shows me attempting the race in the MINOLTA and winning by 15 seconds. The race took me 3 Minutes and 20~ seconds and I gained 70k Cr and 3500~ experience.

You're a pretty negative guy mhm? I've only read a few of your comments and you're either depressed and taking it out on random people or you just think you're god's gift to Gran Turismo.

I wrote this guide and made a video to help people if you have a better method, go ahead and write a guide. If you can't be bothered, GTFO Smile

I agree with you & Jeff,

as your level isn't high try to grind by any way you find it easy & once you reached level 21 you use the 70,000cr way. level 23 do American Champion Indy - you get 95,000 Cr. & higher on endurance events you
get 225,000Cr.

money isn't a problem in GT5 but the problem is do you really wanna play the same race you just played over & over ? :wtf:

You should respect people that have better ideas than you. This method is the only decent way at level 21, but as soon as you hit level 23, the American Race is the way to go.

If you look on any site involving GT5, you see the ZR1 method.

Get original bud.

If I'm right, this site involves GT5 yet there's no method here.
That's why I just added one.
Go make a guide yourself hypocrite.

You don't need a guide to tell somebody to just repeat a race.
Your "guide" is essentially a padded out list, telling people to race X, buy Y, then race Z.

Yes? That isn't a guide?
I'm telling people what they need to finish a race which gives a really fast car. They can then use that car to make 70k Cr every 3 minutes.
It may not be aimed at 1337haxpr0 GT5 gods like Jeff or yourself.

If this isn't a guide, god knows what is.
Don't bother replying unless it's something constructive.

Woah, everyone, this guy has taken the time to post this and no body else has. He deserves some credit for it.

I shall try this when I get to level 21, but I'm a long way off.

Thank you Witness.

Firstly, I reply where I see fit.
A guide isn't needed if it's common sense. Hmm, I get a lot of money quickly for doing this race. Now how can I get money quickly?
I know this is coming across as negative, but I'm afraid I don't see the point in this thread.
