to get the car you want faster do it like this:
as always you get a car after your first setup!

BEFORE you check which car you will get, QUIT the game and COPY your savegame to a flashdrive.
AFTER that you can start the game and check out which car you got!
if its not the one u want, quit the game, copy the savegame from your flashdrive back to you ps3 and start the game ones more.
now you dont need to setup the game again, so it will load much faster!!!
check out your car and do it again and again until you got the car of your choice!

SINCE 1.05 PATCH YOU ARE ONLY ABLE TO TRADE 1 CAR A DAY !!

i tried this after they patched the birthday accounts beeing able to trade just 1 car a day (1.03)

How to do:


• i made an new fake account "C." with TODAYS birthday!!
  
  
• i already had fake "A." and "B." from birthdays a couple days ago + my main acc.
  add A. B. and main acc. as friends!!
  
  
• now i get the birthday car from C. and give it to my main acc. like u always do,
  i am not able put a second car from C. to main now because of the patch!
  
  
• then delete the savefile and give the next birthday car from C. to fake A.
  from the fake A. its possible to give the car to your main acc.
  
  
• again i delete the savefile and give the 3rd birthday car from C. to fake B.
  from the fake B. acc. i can give the 3rd car to my main acc. again!!!
  
  
• one last time delete the savefile on the C. account, get the birthday car you want and wait for the next day...
  then add it as a gift to ur main acc. and you're done :-)
  

meaning i've got 4 awesome new cars with just one birthday account!

if you have 20 accounts, you could still get 20 cars a day then!

if your having trouble:
you can also send the CAR you want from your birthday account to your fake account, and then send it from your fake account as an OBJECT to your main account!!
always check your main account first and then continue with the next car!

i found this out myself!
it was not posted anywhere and nobody knew that this works!

after 1.05:
you are now able to copy your savegame, this can bring you advantage bigtime!
you are able to trade 5 items(paint chips) and 1 car a day per account!
example:
you have got 5 dummy accounts...
so your main account can recieve 5 fully tuned silver chromed ferrari f 40's(you can sell them for 135.000 Cr.)
and 25 silver chrome chips a day (+ the 5 chips you get from the car ;-) so actually 30 chips) a day!
resumed: u get 675.000 Cr. and 30 silver chrome chips a day LMAO

if you have accounts A,B,C and main you can actually get 4 cars, the 3 ways you listed and also the fourth whici requires you to delete the save file one more time get another b-day car (open the ticket and make sure it's one you want) wait until "tomorrow" gift it.

yeah, of course + the car for the next day...

Something strange is going on, when I make a new dummy account and add my main account to the friends list I'm able to send 2 cars from my newly created dummy account. After sending 1 I delete my save and then send the 2nd car and I can receive both cars on my main account, but if I try to send more than 2 only 2 cars show up on my main account.

Once I get my 2nd jailbroken PS3 around Christmas the fun is really going to begin. First thing I'm doing is removing the copy protection from the save file so I can back up my save. Then I'm going to try to hex edit the money, level, and anything else that would be fun to do.

You can actually get 3 cars out of one account without the need of creating 3 PSN accounts. If you first send two car tickets ad them gift the car of your choosing. If you dint get the car you want the first time round ten delete the game save data and them try again. Using this method ensures that you get at least 1 car that you actually want.

If you remove the copy protection then you would be able to duplicate cars through gifting. First you would backup or make a copy of your save and then gift a car to a friend (Redbull X1) after that you would then load up the backup save where you still have the X1. I would Do this myself since I have two PS3's and a jailbreak but it's just effort lol.

Wen I make a new account and go on gt5 on the birthday account I don't get anything? No coupon or anything, do I have to do something first? I've set my birthday to 15 december 1994 (for the mclaren)
