you have to be online to send and accept gifts so i don't think it will work. as soon as you sign in to gt5 it will prompt you to DL the patch if u don't it'll kick you out right?

it wont prompt you to DL the update because you are using the patch blocker which blocks it

Will not work. They did NOT Patch it. They 'fixed' it on the 'server' side. So there is NOTHING for the patch blocker to go around.
