1. Get a chrome paint chip.
2. Use the PS3 "Backup" utility (so you can save your game save).
3. Send chrome paint chip to a friend.
4. Restore your backup data (now you will have your chrome paint chip again).
5. Send another chrome paint chip to a friend. And just keep repeating steps 4-5(I send about 10 to a friend).
6. Then have that friend send you all the chrome paint chips you sent him.
Now you will have a bunch of chrome paint chips to paint several cars at once.
*The backup and restore process can take a long time depending on what is on your PS3's hard drive. I got rid of everything off of my PS3 except for my GT5 save file and the GT5 patch (don't install GT5, otherwise it's gonna take a long time to backup and restore each time). By doing this I can restore in about 11 minutes each time. Once Polyphony Digital removes the copy protection from the game save this method can still be used but you won't have to use the backup and restore utility on the PS3, just copy the game save to a flash drive and reload.
Obviously you could use this method for any paint chip, but chrome is the most rare.
