In recent news, a mother from Korea has strangled her son after a four hour gaming marathon. Her older child (Three years), urinated on the floor & was crying so much, being neglected by the videogame-addicted mom. His crying got so loud that she 'nerd raged' & strangled him to death, leaving him dead on their floor for several days. Her younger child (One year) was in the other room, living with them, but was not harmed by 'Kim', which is the only information that has been given, due to requests.

Reports say she is addicted to 'virtual pets' & 'Korean card games' online, which has been popular in Korea lately.

Other cases such as this have happened in Korea, such as a boy who got so obsessed with videogames, & for his reasons, killed his mother, & then himself.

The people who reported her was her in-laws, who somehow found out about the situation & reported it to the police.

Her neighbors say that Kim's families living environment is trashy, & isn't suited for children of that age. They also commented on how she'd leave her kids crying & crying for hours, without trying to tend to them.

The mother is currently in custody & awaiting trial.

You obviously have never been addicted to anything, when you're addicted you can't find the urge to do it. You'll do anything to do what you're addicted to.

Honestly, I could careless. The child was going to have a horrible life anyway, as the report says how she leaves her kids unattended, and has a trashy living enviroment. I do realize this sounds quite harsh, but get over it.

I honestly don't get where you're coming from.

That's disgusting, all it would take is for one of her 'normal' 'social' and 'caring' friends to see the kid and call social services.

That sucks, not knowing your own death is just months away from your birth? I mean only an animal would do something like this. It's sad how these people can do something like this to such a fragile little baby. Why not just give it up for adoption. A lot of people/couple can't get pregnant and they would love to have a child in their life!

Dang, that's just... so wrong. I'm furious at the woman, I hope justice prevails and she gets the hard-on consequences. The kids don't deserve any of the sufferings, I feel sorry for them.
