(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); i was wondering whether a wheel would improve my lap times, and skill. i have like £85 to spend and will play on gt5 primarily, i was wondering whether a glass desk would work to latch onto, and would prefer pedals. Happy thanks!

The Logitech G25 is hard to find maybe you mean the G27? But even so, those G27's are expensive and cost around $300. I shop at amazon a lot and they are out of stock

i have and would highly recommend the g27. that being said, it will only help your lap times if you have skill. it can't make a newb any good. you still have to practice... alot

what kind are you looking for, and i can search for you if you like?

paddle shifters ARE realistic there on many many cars such as gtrs or lamborghinis

yeah, but some people jsut liek the feel of a gear stick more, dunno why but makes it feel more "involved: or some shit lol

ROLL TIDE!!!
DOn't put ANY force feedback wheel on glass table.

I just took back a Logitech GT and got my money back. played for hours with it, drove worst that with DS3.

1. If you want force feedback. Be ready to FIGHT EVERY CAR. Even on straight aways. (It is almost impossible to go straight on some tracks cause o this.)
2. You wn't be albe to play for as long...you will get tired.
3. Don't buy unless you have a PERFECT setup.

That is why I took mine back, i don't have a good setup. WHich I know that the setup makes the biggest difference.

it was fun. but really harder than a DS3. (Probarly cause my setup i had). The logitech Gt is more than enough and it is like 99 - 129. Only problem with the GT is you can't NOT cutt off force feedback, you can only cutt down. and honestly 1 is only VERY slightly different from 10.

I'm sure if I keep it, and got a better setup, the will would help...(Maybe???)

Not 100% sure but it might......

I just say not 100% cause so far I have beat all the things that was said was impossible without a wheel with a DS3

If you expect a driving wheel to automatically make you better the moment you get it then you're an idiot. You'll play worse, way worse. It takes time to get used to it especially if you don't drive an actual car but once you get used to it your times will improve by a lot.
