PlayStation Android and iPhone App Coming to the US

Last month the European PS Blog announced that the official PlayStation App will be coming to Androids and iPhones. They announced several of the countries it would be released to but no US. Now theres a good sign the app will come to America.

Jeff Rubenstein made the last post of the year on the US PlayStation Blog. He talked about some of the things to expect in coming months for the US. Someone asked about the app moving beyond Europe and Mr. Rubenstein said:



That's a pretty solid unofficial confirmation. Don't be surprised if this app does come to the US as all signs are positive right now.

Now if only Microsoft would go beyond their stupid Windows phone, and make an XBL app for Android and iPhone. Android will be first for obvious reasons if Microsoft would make an XBL App, iPhone....they'd have to fight this one.

None the less, one console down, one to go.

I do believe that there is already an XBL app for ipod/iphone. I don't know what it does as i havn't downloaded it but i've definatly seen it around the app store. Buyfrom what i've seen there is an XBL friends list app as well as a few other XBL apps.

theres already an app in the store that works perfectly fine, it does pretty much what this does, it allows u to sign in, view friends, view trophies, ect.
its called MyPSN, search it, and well, yeah, sony is a it late, and they could at elast add chat into it.

i wonder what you will be able to do on it
