Angry Birds Coming to PSN this Week

THE GAME IS NOW OUT AND HAS BEEN OUT FOR AWHILE!

The infamous iDevice and Android game Angry Birds is about to make its debut on the PlayStation 3. It will be released for download on the U.S. PlayStation Network Store tomorrow, and the European release is scheduled for January 5.

This game was originally released in December 2009 for the iPhone. I don't think anyone knew how big a hit that app would become. Since then Angry Birds has been downloaded an amazing 50 million times globally.

Honestly I don't think that this will be as big a hit on consoles then it was on handheld devices but we'll see soon.

I wonder how will we be able to play it?

Probably move the left analog and set the power with the right. D-Pad will be for scavenging the map I'm guessing

This Game on Playstation is unnecessary

I agree. I do not think it has a place as its own game on Psn. I already have the game on my ipod so theres no point in buying it for my ps3.

I'm guessing this is going to be a mini though. Since it's a dollar on the app store I can't see why it would be higher on the ps store.
