The application allegedly allows the PS3 players who have modified their console to unlock all PS3 Trophies instantly and automatically, using random timestamps.

A Sony spokesman released a statement today ensuring users they are working on resolving the hack:



It's the latest development of PlayStation exploits following the news that the PS3 had been hacked completely, and irreversibly, by George 'Gehotz' Hotz at the beginning of the month.

I love Sony and all, but they seriously need to chill on this legal stuff. ITS JUST A GAME CONSOLE NOT THE ENTIRE COMPANY.

They cannot do anything unless you are an idiot who will get like 9999999999999 Platinum trophies. The Hombrew uses random times for earning trophies , in no way Sony can be sure you hacked or not.

Sony it's your fault since the beginning, now learn how to keep your master keys safe. I also doubt that Sony gives a shit about trophies right now, all what they think about is their case against Geohot and patching the CFW, which is not possible unless they change the hardware.

Yet again, sony is just trying to find little tiny excuses to what is going wrong with their system. The PS3 has been hacked and i think they just need to take it on the chin, and admit the fact , that there isn't much they can do.

Very true, I like when people say this will bankrupt Sony lol. They don't make much profits off of their consoles, mostly on the games and the PSN store. They make shit load of money from T.V's, Computers, and Movie Production Companies they own. Sony isn't going anywhere.
