Rep is, I don't even know honestly. It's simply just a number that increases when people rep you? lol But it's safe to assume members with higher rep are more trustworthy in some areas, but to me, it's just a number.

vBux is like this sites currency.. You can buy things using it, like from sigs to PSN cards. Now, theres no official place to buy PSN cards and such, but some users to trade them for vbux. Check out the vbPlaza, in their, you can buy more things. Rep is, I don't even know honestly. Rep stands for reputation. To earn it, post useful posts, or simply make people laugh, but please abide by all forum rules.
Rep must be earned, you can not buy it, you can not rep4rep, and you can not rep people just because you know them. Rep boosters will be infracted. If you -rep someone for no reason, you are also breaking the rules. If you are extremely satisfied with a thread and want to give out the most rep you can, +rep first, then thank, then nominate

WHEN DO I GET MY FIRST REP STAR?
You will receive a rep star for every 2000 reputation points you have. Every 3 bronze stars turn into a silver star. Every 3 silver stars turn into a gold star.

HOW DO YOU NOMINATE A THREAD?
To nominate a thread you must have 100 posts. After you have 100 posts, you will see a nominate button to the right of the thank button. A nominate gives the user an additional 5 reputation points. If they win thread of the week, they will receive an automatic 100 reputation points.
