PS3 Cloud Storage Coming Soon

Finally some good news coming from Sony. Today Sony informed developers that a new feature will soon be coming to the ps3. Cloud storage.

'Cloud storage' will allow people to upload their saves to a sever that Sony runs, thus saving you memory on your hardrive. This is a big thumbs up because we could all use a little space on our PS3's
AND since the cloud storage will be tied to a PlayStation Network account you can access your saves on different consoles.

Looks like you don't have to play the whole LittleBigPlanet story mode again at your buddies house.

However there may be some limitations to this. Since some games have locks on their save data, Sony will give developers the option to opt their games out.

Don't get to carried away though, there is a catch (there always is ). You didn't think it would be free, did you?! Hogwash! Unfortunately this will only be made available to PlayStation Plus subscribers.

Sony has titled this process "Online Saving" and it will be available along with the future 3.60 firmware update.

Sounds pretty stupid of sony, in the case of someone hacking it on a completely random account, and uploading the account details once they put the save on, wouldnt it be exploitable?

At least I can fight
Sony, cross game chat or GTFO.
I think everyone would agree that they want that over "Cloud Storage."

They really need to step up their game, it can't be that hard to do.
