Post: A note to future cloners & duplicators

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Most of you have seen how to duplicate/clone on GT5. After the firmware update, you will no longer be allowed to save your data to your USB or be able to use your saved data from your USB to your PS3.

Why has this happened? Sony have now put strict security measures in their new firmware which disallow any form of USB or HDD.

If you're thinking of cloning or duplicating any time soon, I wouldn't recommend it (if you're on 3.56). If you're on firmware 3.55, knock yourself out as there are no security measures.

Do not risk it, you could lose your data forever.

Well.. if you have a jailbroken system then you can? You just need more accounts.

Not sure tbh.

Thanks for clarifying this, it doesn't work for me in the UK, maybe it's probably the type of USB I'm using, idk.

I'll take a gander, thanks.

I managed to get it to work anyway, and Im on 3.56

duping cars in GT5 is STILL possible. Thread closed.
