But, as of now here are the races:

200 HP or Less FF Challenge
300 HP or Less FR Challenge
400 HP or Less 4WD Challenge
Ferrari F1 Challenge.

I hope there is XP and money involved, otherwise it seems a bit pointless to me to do these...

Edit: Cash is set up differently this time, you only earn the moeny for the place you get, I don't know if you races can be repeated for the same reward yet or not, I will report back after I have enough fun with a race to do it twice.

You can keep replaying them for prize money, but Aspec races are still better.
The further down the list event you do, the more money you get for 1st.

A FF race gets you around 20k, and a Ferrari race around 110k.
You are not limited in BHP or tyres, but the opponents are. I don't see the point in this, it is easily beatable. The only challenge is to see how crap a car you can win with is

Agreed, I really don't see the point of this at all, if the rewards were higher then it would make sense to try and win with the crappiest cars you can, but this way....?

The further you get into GT5, the more you realize money is easy to get.......Experience points are not!
They should give more money/Exp. if you win with a lower horsepower car than is allowed.

As for the X1, it is actually depressing when using it against normal cars in the game mode, it's only has two uses, B-Spec Endurance grinding and Rubber band A-Spec Indy Credit maker!

whats the exp like now? is it still a lot?

I can't remember what XP the races give. I will have to check that out again. I dunno if anybody remembers, but in GT4 you got more B-Spec points the crappier car you won with (albeit in B-Spec). They should implement this kind of thing in a Seasonal Event
