The latest GT5 update 1.07 (See You must login or register to view this content. and You must login or register to view this content. for more info) which came into effect over night means that cars with a value of more than 1,000,000 Cr or gift car coupons can no longer be given to another Member through the "Friends" list.
Birthday gift cards may still be able to be sent, but, that remains to be tried and tested.

This means most of the good cars on my list can no longer be traded.

I have 2 outstanding trades where Vbux have been parted.

#1 Within Trading Post
You must login or register to view this content. paid 120,000 Vbux for an Abt Audi TT-R Touring Car ‘02, a McLaren F1 GTR Race Car ‘97 and a 190 E 2.5 – 16 Evolution II Touring Car ‘92.
The only outstanding car is the 190 E 2.5 – 16 Evolution II Touring Car ‘92, which cannot be sent, so, I will be giving him a refund of 44,000 Vbux which will cover the 40,000 for the car and a further 4,000 for the Vbux Tax he would have incured.

#2 Within Private Messaging

This car cannot be sent, so, I will be giving him a refund of 55,000 Vbux which will cover the 50,000 for the car and a further 5,000 for the Vbux Tax he would have incured.


I hope the refunds are satisfactory due to the need for them being beyond my control.


The Trading Post will be closed for a while until I can sort the list out by removing the "no longer tradable cars".

The value of a Used car is not based on the price you buy it, but on an invisible internal value which is slightly higher ; concesquently, most cars that are priced around 980 000 - 999 999 Cr can't be trade either.

The cut off point seems to be around these three cars:-
Mazda RX-7 LM Race Car '01 @ 985,320 Cr
Vauxhall/Opel Astra Touring Car '00 @ 984,000 Cr
Audi A4 Touring Car '04 @ 970,655 Cr

List has been updated to take into account the GT5 1.07 Update which limits car trades to less than 1,000,000 Cr.

The car list is much less interesting now that the X1s, FGTs, F1s & Le Mans Racers have been removed :bye:, but, that's the line Polophony has drawn in the sand! (For now!)



EDIT:
Normal trade has resumed, but, the daily trade limits have been changed from 1 car per account per day to 1 car per PS3 Console per day.

The short of it is, I can only send one Car and 5 Paints per day now.
