The inevitable Mw2 1.12 patch is coming very soon! Robert Bowling, the community manager of Infinity Ward, has just tweeted the following:

So this means all people with a Custom Patch will be banned or something? Tell me What will happen and why please thanks <3

All users with custom patchs are not going to get banned
Reason no system in place to ban them with MW2
JUST like hot fixes won't work with MW2
Better late then never IW but stilll my god IW suck ass are supporting a game even with it game breaking bugs/!!!!!
Anybody who thinks IW a better COD dev needs to be slapped alot one good thing does not undo 50 million broken things >_> rant over

In my honest opinion, they need to just do a complete online reset, set in place the patch which removes the modded rounds, reset the high scores and reset every player, legit or not.
It may be harsh, but it gives a fresh restart, and then at least REAL people will be able to reach rank 1 on the high scores rather than a hacker with no life. Yea, I'll lose my 10th prestige level 70 with everything completed, but it would be fun to start over with everyone being legit.
